This is the last Will and Testament

- of me -

JOSEPH CHARLES SCRIVEN of 39 The Limes Avenue, New Southgate, N.11. Tool Maker and General Engineer.

1. I REVOKE all Wills and testamentary dispositions at any time heretofore made by me.

2. I APPOINT my wife Mercy Elizabeth to be the Executrix of this my Will subject to her surviving me for twenty one days or should she not so survive me then I appoint my daughter Jessie to be the Executrix hereof.

3. I DESIRE my wife to carry on for her own advanage and benefit for a period of three years computed from the date of my death my business of a Tool Maker and General Engineer now carried on by me under the style of the "S. Tool Co." with power for that purpose to retain and employ in the business the capital which shall at my death be employed therein together with such additional capital as she shall think proper to advance from time to time out of my residuary estate and generally to act in all matters relating to the said businss as though she were beneficially entitled thereto. It is my wish that my wife shall employ Thomas John Mosley as the Manager of the said business and that he shall be paid an adequate salary for this services.

4. AT the expiration of the said period of three years computed from the date of my death I bequeath the goodwill of the said business and the stock in trade machinery plant and effects employed therein or belonging thereto and the benefit of all contracts subsisting in respect of the said business and all book debts and moneys due in respect therof (but not any money standing to the credit of my business account) to the said Thomas John Mosley he discharging and indemnifying my general estate and my wife from all debts and liabilities due or subsisting in respect of the said business at the expiration of the said period of three years computed from the date of my death.

5. I FURTHER bequeath to the said Thomas John Mosley the sum of Fifty pounds.

6. I DEVISE AND BEQUEATH the residue of my estate both real and personal unto my wife absolutely subject to her surviving me for twenty one days.

7. IF my wife shall not survive me for twenty one days then I bequeath the residue of my estate as aforesaid unto and equally among my five daughters, Maud, Dora, Florrie, Jessie and Gladys.
